Hubstaff is a time-tracking and employee monitoring solution available for Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook, iOS, and Android.
Hubstaff’s Asana time-tracking integration allows employees to track time on their Asana tasks. When they’re done working on a task, they can mark it as completed from Hubstaff and the time will be posted to the Asana task.
Integrating Hubstaff and Asana only takes a few minutes and after that there are automatic updates (project teams stay synced). The Hubstaff reporting area is a nice way to see the exact time spent working on project tasks.
I think what is most intriguing, however, are the employee scheduling and monitoring capabilities. The scheduling app provides an easy way to manage your staff schedule. But then the time tracker will email alerts to inform you right away of any late, missed, or abandoned shifts, so you’ll know about your employee attendance and what they accomplished.
You can even set up automatic screenshots while employees are working to monitor if employees are working on what they say they are. I imagine most organizations wouldn’t use this feature, but I can see some real value when working with remote contractors you may have never even met.
Hubstaff offers a 14-day free trial.
